Most recommendations are income, not opinion. mypinbite is a small map where we decide what earns a pin: places we have eaten at, places we added ourselves, and picks from independent voices we vet for restaurant ties. Every pin carries our take and the dish to order. Search a dish, not just a restaurant, or let the app pick tonight’s spot.
Our take: a progressive Indian tasting counter in an intimate Palm room, at the very top of Dubai fine dining.
Same standard everywhere: every place is verified before it earns a pin, and every take says only what we know. Switch cities in the app with one tap.
From Deira institutions to the tasting counters on the Palm. The deepest guide we make.
Bakeries, boozers and the odd legend, each verified before it earned its pin.
Cannes and the coast: a small, sharp starting guide, growing with every visit.
Type “best biryani in JLT” or “proper pasta in Soho” and mypinbite understands the craving, ranking the dishes worth crossing town for in whichever city you’re eating.

No four thousand mediocre options, in any of our cities. Tap a pin to see the place, why it earned its spot, and the exact dishes to order.
When nothing comes to mind, the “What should I eat?” quiz asks what kind of night it is: dinner or date night, near you or anywhere. Then it hands you a ranked shortlist of curated places. No scrolling paralysis.
Every place carries our take, with its signature dishes underneath. Upvote the ones that earned it, leave a short review, add a photo. The best version of what you’re craving rises to the top, and you order like you’ve been before.
Keep Favourites and Want-to-try for yourself, and build shared lists with friends. Invite them by username, add places together, and mark the ones you’ve eaten. The next dinner plans itself.
Every pin is our own call, and every claim on it is one we can back. This is the whole method: no mystery algorithm, no pay-to-play. And it’s the same standard in every city we cover.
Most influencer recommendations are income, not opinion. Every pin here is our own call: places we have eaten at, places we added ourselves, and picks from independent voices we vet for restaurant ties. No restaurant pays to be on the map, in the pictures, or anywhere else.
Every place is cross-checked against public sources (location, menu, details) before it earns a pin. What we can’t verify, we drop.
Each place carries our take, marked honestly: researched, or visited, meaning we’ve eaten there. We don’t invent verdicts about food we haven’t tasted.
Soon, a small bench of vetted food bloggers publishing under their own name. Vetted means no ownership, employment or family ties to any listed venue, no paid placements, every invite disclosed, and a signed agreement before the first pin. Until then, every take on the map is written by us.
Readers may one day pay for mypinbite. Restaurants never will. If you book a table through the app we may earn a booking fee, and it never affects who is on the map or where they sit.

Seen somewhere we haven’t? Add it. New places start in the community layer, one flip of a filter away, while the curated map stays untouched. When enough diners like and save a find, we verify it ourselves and publish it. Keep championing places that earn their pin and, after vetting, you can earn curator status, with your name on the picks you called first.
Gallery photos work the same way: they come from diners and are reviewed before they appear. No restaurant pays for placement, in the pictures or anywhere else.
It lands in the community layer, visible to anyone who flips the map to “Show all”. Connected to the place? Say so: declared connections are shown, and never count toward promotion.
Every like and save counts toward promotion. No restaurant can vote for itself.
Once it has earned enough backing, we check it ourselves and move it onto the curated map.
Type what you feel like, browse the map, or answer a few taps for tonight's shortlist.
Every pin carries our take: what the evidence supports, marked honestly as researched or visited.
